WHY HIRE A MANAGER?
Each artist has a different piece of pie in the operations chart that they’d prefer either to let someone else deal with. Be it marketing, meeting gallery owners, discussing SEO for websites, or styling outfits for a photoshoot, I am that someone else.
DO YOU PREFER TO REPRESENT PAINTERS?
MOST OF YOUR CLIENTS PAINT ART.
I don’t prefer a particular kind of artist. I hope to expand into the music and fashion industry within the next 2 years.
DO YOU HAVE ANY REQUIREMENTS FOR ARTISTS YOU’LL ACCEPT AS CLIENTS?
In general, those I represent have to ethically align for what I believe to support. I hope to build up voices in BlPOC spaces and because of such will only take clients that fit the bill.
DO YOU ONLY TAKE CLIENTS IN SEATTLE?
Yes, for now. I’m in a very hands-on stage albeit early stage of my management career and prefer those I represent to be in Seattle.
I may consider smaller marketing projects or a jumpstart consultation to help client’s understand their gaps and walk away with a one-sheeter that they can give a manager in their local area.
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY ABOUT BEING A MANAGER?
I’ve always been interested in many creative outlets, the logistics of how just about anything goes does down, and I love people. I have a passion for helping others and I’m able to utilize many hats in this industry. Also, it’s just mad fun, you know?
